Meet Grant.

We’re so excited to welcome our awesome new pool builder, Grant, to our team. With his technical mind and his stellar capacity for efficiency and ingenuity, Grant brings a huge amount of knowledge, experience and energy to Cronulla Pools.

Grant is a licensed plumber, drainer and gasfitter with more than 15 years’ experience working across civil, commercial, residential and mining industries. He’s worked as a hydraulic consultant and designer in Sydney on a massive range of high-profile projects and prides himself on his capacity to deliver innovative solutions for his clients.

“I believe there is a solution to every problem,” he says. “You just may not have thought of it yet. All projects have their individual hurdles and I’m all about finding creative ways to get the job done.”

In his spare time, Grant loves mountain biking, snowboarding in the winter, and spending time with his family in the outdoors. 

“When I’m not at work, you can probably find me at the beach with the kids,” he says, “or at home watching the Dragons pump the Sharks!”

Grant decided to make the move from hydraulic consulting to pool building because he was looking for a better work/life balance and more variety in the day-to-day aspect of his job. He came to Cronulla Pools because he loved the idea of working with a local, family owned and operated company and collaborating with people at a similar stage in life. He’s also really excited about the chance to see the pool building process from conception to execution.

“One thing I missed as a hydraulic consultant was the satisfaction of seeing a finished product,” he says. “And as a plumber I was also really proud of completing a neat end-product but this is lost on the client – they’re just pipes at the end of the day. I can’t wait to complete my first pool build and see how stoked the client is with the result of something they are so invested in.”

As we fast approach a whole new year of building beautiful pools, we’re very lucky to have Grant on board to help us get the job done.
