We are really proud of all that we do. But this one was a standout. A beautiful design coupled with gorgeous clients meant that we were pretty sad for it to finish. But alas, it did and now I get to dish the goss on what was so great about it. Easy for me to do, I know. Better for you to hear it from the horses mouth though so I asked Simon (our client) a few questions.

We were first approached by Simon and Anna in early 2019 - they had huge desires to have a pool both for themselves and for the kids.

“We were referred to Cronulla Pools by Innovate Architects and following initial discussions with Matt and Kate we were confident that Cronulla Pools were the right choice for us. A pool was always something high on our list for our home to create that perfect outdoor space that can be used throughout the year”.

We engaged the clever boys from Site Design + Studio’s to design the area best suited to Simon and Anna’s needs as well as working functionally with the rest of the house. A timber screen was built to remain compliant and keep a native tree that was situated near the pool area. And an additional concrete slab was poured and pavers raised to bring the levels of the entertaining area and the pool as one.

We quickly ascertained that the project required council approval so worked closely with our services to package it up and get it lodged. Once the project was approved we were ready to go. As with all projects, things out of our control can pop up along the way.

“There were some minor challenges that popped up as the job was in progress for example earthing of the pool fence and water restrictions coming into play. These were not major issues and once again the communication was Matt and Kate was exceptional and we worked through these with ease”.

The project finished just in time for Christmas. Simon and Anna both said their favourite things about the pool are the value it has brought to their home and how much fun they have entertaining friends and family, diving it in everyday and the amazing deck and unique waterline tile.

And in case we haven’t bragged enough - i’ll leave you with this..
