A Family Pool With a Moroccan Twist in Jannali.

When our clients at this gorgeous Jannali property first approached us in May, they had a very clear vision on what they wanted, and did not want, in a pool. Lyndall and Wayne were adamant that their backyard not get completely overrun by concrete. So we worked with them to create a stunning feature that’s also a perfect family pool.

We’ve been in the construction industry for a while, so it’s fair to say we know our stuff. But, even so, we’re always impressed when a client has clearly done their homework.

And Lyndall and Wayne had done a lot of research before they even approached us for a quote. Not only did they have a very clear vision of their finished pool, they knew exactly what they wanted in a pool builder. So we were obviously flattered when they awarded us the project.

Of course, even with the best research, pool builds don’t always go according to plan. We had to go back-and-forth initially to get the design right due to a sewer that ran through where they wanted to place the pool. But we were able to overcome this thanks to the help of a water servicing coordinator and discussions with our clients on how to maximise the use of their space.

We’re so pleased with how the finished pool has come together. A stunning Moroccan tile was chosen for the waterline and swimout step, which creates a gorgeous element and ensures the pool is a feature even in the middle of winter.

While the pool isn’t heated at the moment, we installed the appropriate pipe work so this can be added in future. This is actually a great idea if you’re conscious of budget but want to maximise the use of your pool in the future.

And what do they think of their new pool now?

“We love it. Couldn’t be happier. We use the pool everyday, and the kids are even in it during the rain and often late into the night,” said Lyndall.
