Plunge Pools
What is a plunge pool?
A plunge pool is just a small pool - simple as that. Perfect for tight spaces or when you want something quick to cool off in. They are custom designed and built so even though they might be small, they often back a big punch.
You can still have all the good stuff too - steps, heaters, or a deep end if you like. They’re compact, stylish, and just as beautiful as the big ones.

Frequently asked questions about plunge pools.
-
A plunge pool is a compact, shallow pool designed for cooling off, unwinding and soaking up the good life — not for swimming laps. They’re perfect for smaller backyards, courtyards or tight city spaces where a full-sized pool just isn’t practical.
Most plunge pools range between 2–6 metres long and around 1.2–1.6 metres deep — big enough for a dip, a drink, or a lazy afternoon float. Think of it as your own private oasis: small in size, but big on style and relaxation.
-
Like all concrete pools, the cost depends on size, design, access and finishes. As a guide, most of our plunge pools start from around $90,000 with custom features like heating, lighting or built-in benches adding a little more.
The good news? You’ll get the same craftsmanship, structural integrity and design freedom as our full-sized pools — just in a smaller, more efficient package.

Absolutely — and most of our clients choose to. Heating turns your plunge pool into a year-round retreat, perfect for an early morning dip in winter or a warm soak under the stars. We’ll talk you through the best options for your space, whether that’s electric, gas or solar.
-
Generally, the process takes around 10–14 weeks once we’re on site. Smaller pools are usually quicker to build, but we’ll give you a clear timeline upfront so you know exactly what to expect. From design and approvals to your first swim, we’ll guide you through every stage.
-
Absolutely. Many of our plunge pool clients choose to add spa jets, bench seating or heating so they can enjoy that perfect mix of cool dip and warm soak. It’s the best of both worlds — the simplicity of a pool with the comfort of a spa, all rolled into one compact design.
-
Um, yes! — and our clients will tell you the same. A plunge pool gives you all the luxury of a full-sized pool in a smaller footprint. It cools you off on a hot day, adds serious value to your home, and instantly elevates your lifestyle. Whether you’re swimming, soaking or sipping — it’s the perfect fit for modern living.
