Creating priceless memories in Wyralla Road.

Darren, Bec and their girls love the water. Previous summers have been spent at cousins, friends and grandparents houses – anywhere they could go to cool down and have a swim. Bec always had a pool growing up which meant they had the house everyone wanted to be at. Building this pool was all about creating these same memories for their own kids.

Their yard is a kid’s paradise. It’s massive. The large outdoor entertaining area steps down to a vast grassed area with a cubby and a swing for the kids. They wanted to proportionally fill half the yard with the pool and its surrounds. It’s all about creating spaces that are functional and that work well with the rest of your house and Darren and Bec knew exactly what they wanted. We designed an 8m x 4.5m pool which included a long bench seat that lined the length of the pool.

Darren and Bec have a daughter with a disability so the pool needed to be easy to get in and out of and also have ample space for her to rest while swimming. We built bubbles into the bench seat in the shallow end to provide extra entertainment for the girls.

We asked Darren and Bec what it was about Cronulla Pools that made them engage us. They had definitely done their research and loved the pools we were building but couldn’t know for sure what they’d be like years down the track. They met with three pool builders and knew instantly when they met us that they wanted us to build their pool. Because for us, we get so excited to be able to build pools for our clients because we know just how great they are. We get it, they don’t come cheap but they do create a lifestyle that, as Mastercard appropriately put it, is priceless!
