Currently crushing on Suncatcher Pools.

We’re passionate about the work we do and love keeping an eye on fellow pool builders who inspire us. We’re currently swooning over all things Suncatcher Pools.

Based on the North Coast of NSW, and serving the Byron Bay area and hinterland, this family owned business is kicking major goals and building some seriously cool pools! Run by husband and wife Luke & Christal, our businesses are very similar focusing on bespoke concrete pool projects and personalised customer service.

Suncatcher build residential pools in to-die-for spots and have recently built some Instagram-worthy pools, including The Bower, Bask & Stow, and the Spell Designs Apartment #poolcrush

Luke & Christal generously shared their forecasts for the latest trends, and tips for when you start building your very own pool.

Pool Trends

-        The end of 2018 was focused on lots of white tile and white breeze block walls, with a definite palm springs vibe.

-        Black seems to be the next big trend in 2019, with Suncatcher currently working on two large fully tiled pools in black colour. Fancy!

Concrete Pools vs the rest

 -        The guys from Suncatcher agree with us – concrete is the only way to go!

-        You can do whatever you want with concrete, the finished look is much better and offers the most flexibility with your design goals.

Tips for a pool newbie

 -        Be prepared, get as much information as you can about your block so that there are no nasty surprises !

Now sit back and take in the magic that is a Suncatcher Pool. Can you almost feel the warm, salty Byron breeze? I’m meet you at the Mez Club..
