How to build a pool during water restrictions.

Water restrictions are now in force for the first time in over a decade. And although SPASA have been working tirelessly with Sydney Water to limit the impact on swimming pool builders and owners, they do affect us.

You can get the full rundown on the restrictions here – but what we want you to know is that you’re now required to have a SPASA certified pool cover before we’re allowed to fill your pool up (if your pool is smaller than 10,000L then you need not worry).

A pool cover is a great investment. They maintain the pools temperature, reduce water loss and keep it pretty much leaf free! There’s an array of different options in the market these days from bubble blankets to fully customisable in ground covers that you can actually walk on!

Planning is key. Talk to your pool builder early on in the design phase to include the use of a pool cover.

Interested in your very own pool? Get in touch with us today to discuss including a pool cover in your dream pool.
